We have spent over 43 years in committed relationship, continually re-inventing ourselves and our relationship.

We have been apprentices of the Hendricks Institute since January 2003. We have completed the coursework for "Conscious Relationship Coach & Consultant". This experience has brought profound life changes. We are finding the genius of who we are individually and who we are together. Hendricks' training and practices have broadened the integration of our bodies, hearts and souls. We have a profound love and respect for Doctors Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks who model all of their teachings in their daily life.

We have two adult sons and are learning more and more how to have conscious healthy relationships with them.

We are fulfilling our dream of intentional community by living in Terra Firma Cohousing since 1997. Our greatest joy is interacting with others in our community, especially with the children who see us as "pretend grandparents". For more information about cohousing, visit www.cohousing.ca.

We have received Reiki, 3^rd level initiation, and we constantly remember the Universal Life Force energy which constantly surrounds us and is part of us.

Bob Neufeld

I have a Masters of Education and taught in elementary schools for 30 years. My favorite years were teaching Grades 1 and 2. I expanded into a love of puppets, writing and illustrating children's books during these years and am currently creating a series of books for 4 to 8 year olds exploring feelings.

I have a wealth of background as an adult educator and my passion is to inspire others with my playful creativity, enthusiasm and by sharing my experience.

I have been involved in being part of and creating men's support and healing groups and retreats for the past 15 years. My orientation is pro-feminist, gay-positive focused on creativity and play. I have been a leader in dancing and creating rituals with men.

I have an extensive knowledge of and connection with the natural world. My love of the outdoors has taken me camping, hiking, back-packing and canoeing throughout North America. My love of nature has also led me to cultivate an extensive perennial garden.

Marlene Neufeld:

I received my Masters of Social Work in 1995. I have 15 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator and 13 years of experience in Social Services. I am currently exploring my genius in collaborating with Dr. Kathlyn Hendricks on editing the Hendricks Apprenticeship Manual.

I have been involved in being part of and creating women's groups and retreats for the past 15 years. I delight in using my intuition in supporting women in their journeys and on incorporating spirituality and creativity into this process.

I love exploring my creativity through a variety of art projects, including embroidery, painting, sketching, macramé, crochet, mask-making, collage, jewelry, and sculpture.
